Operations Manager - Rugeley Leisure Centre - Rugeley, Staffordshire

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:

Our Operations Managers are the motivation behind our people ensuring they deliver the best quality service to our customers and members. They are passionate about making a difference locally through delivering the very best in leisure and cultural services.

No two days are the same as through this role you will ensure the safe operation of our facilities in line with service standards as well as developing team members and setting day to day tasks.

This role requires quick thinking and the ability to problem solve as you will be the ‘go to’ person for our team, leading by example to get the job done.

About You:

You will be passionate about delivering great service and making a difference to people’s lives. You will have the skills to achieve this through motivating and inspiring your Team Members and ensuring good communication throughout the Centre.

You must be resilient and stay positive and polite through every contact and support the odd frustrated customer to ensure a positive outcome can be achieved. You will love interacting with people, have experience of working in the leisure industry and the professional qualifications relevant for this role.

Roles and Responsibilities

To manage the day to day operation of the facility ensuring

  • Staff staffing levels and coordination of staffing rotas
  • A safe and clean facility
  • Knowledgeable staff who are well trained 
  • A great customer experience
