Circa £19,266 p/a (Depending on age and experience)

Full time (39 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nursery nurse at Starjumps Nursery, Borehamwood working with an enthusiastic and friendly team.

Starjumps Nursery is located within The BECC Family centre which is within easy walking distance of Elstree and Borehamwood train station, with a well laid out inside area and a beautiful outside garden with plenty of covered area for outside play regardless of the weather.  The nursery is open 50 weeks a year and provides care to children aged between 2-5 years.

Applicants must have a strong knowledge of the Revised EYFS and have worked in an Early Years setting with experience of working with children aged between 2 -5 years.  We require you to have an NVQ3 qualification in childcare and SENco experience is desirable.

Some of Your duties will be;

• To support our Nursery Manager/ Deputy Manager.
• You will be part of the Key person role, providing a stimulating varied programme planning daily activities and promoting learning through play and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate and ensure the safe keeping of the children.
• Actively involved in the nursery’s Key person system. Keeping a record of achievement file on each individual key child.
• Liaise with and support parents and other families
