40 hours a week (Flexible 5/ 7 days)

£45,000 (Dependent on experience) + Benefits

Our seven hotels are all located in the heart of Bloomsbury, Central London. From our charming 34-bedroom boutique Morton Hotel to our largest and lively Royal National hotel with a huge 1630-bedrooms. Collectively our 8 hotels have a fantastic variety of meetings and events spaces with flexibility to accommodate a roundtable discussion for 6 people to a large conference attended by over 700 delegates within our 28 meeting rooms.

We are now recruiting for a Cluster Sales Manager based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural teamWe don't want you to work for us, we want you to work with us and be part of our ILH Family. 

In this exciting role as Cluster Sales Manager, you will be reporting to our Head of Sales and implementing strategies to achieve our hotels sales & revenue targets. Responsible for generating new sales, networking, and nurturing our existing clients’ expectations.

What you’ll be doing

As Cluster Sales Manager your key responsibilities will include the following:

OPERATIONAL

  • Perform day to day sales activity including lead generation, account management, face to face meetings, contracting, client entertainment, national sales trips, attending trade shows and networking.
  • Take responsibility for managing assigned existing accounts and developing new contacts by personal and consistent sales services.
  • Have full product knowledge of the facilities offered.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and associate’s information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Calling potential clients, arranging show arounds and converting enquiries in sales.
  • Arranging own sales appointments and actioning professional follow up accordingly.
  • Establish key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue.
  • Have a clear strategy and account plan for each client.
  • Ensure pro-active follow up of all business, referrals, and potential sales leads.
  • Attend, host and coordinate client entertaining as required.
  • Development and implementation of hotel sales plan also maximizing revenue and profit.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly hotel meetings as required.
  • To identify creative ideas to help improve and differentiate Imperial London Hotels.

What we’d like from you

  • You will have proven experience gained in sales, ideally from within the Hospitality sector.
  • Experience of sales and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially focused with good knowledge of local trends and competitor activity.
  • Confident and engaging manner with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • You will have excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Acts as brand ambassador for Imperial London Hotels promoting a professional image at all times.
