The role and You:

As Head of L&D at Honest, it is your mission to create a meaningful learning journey for all our team (old, new and everyone in between). You will stimulate curiosity through developing L&D materials that will enable our people to grow, keeping our talent pipeline flowing. You will build and deliver engaging content through digital platforms as well as be able to captivate your audience in the classroom environment. You will be a stickler for detail and data which validates your teams' learning journeys.

You will be part of a strong L&D community and keep up to date with L&D trends. You will be tech savvy (being an Attensi Master is a must as well as creating digital content) and a whizz in all elements of Microsoft.

You will have managed your departments budget and always be looking on how to best create value for the investment made in L&D in Honest. You will be a relationship builder crossing over restaurant teams, central support, customers and Honest suppliers. A natural born problem solver, you thrive in a collaborative environment between all departments in Honest.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training and development needs across our restaurants, prep kitchen and central team.
  • Design, implement, and deliver learning and development programs to address identified needs.
  • Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives to support the growth and development of our employees.
  • Oversee compliance training to ensure that employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize training systems and platforms to ensure effective delivery of training programs, specifically Attensi.
  • Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs and designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Strong understanding of succession planning and talent development best practices.
  • Experience in overseeing compliance training initiatives to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in managing training systems and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a learning and development budget effectively.
