Operations Manager - Hoburne Cotswold

Tucked away in Gloucestershire, Hoburne Cotswold holiday park is now recruiting for a Operations Manager to join their friendly team.

We would love you to join our team if you have the skills and attributes we are looking for as an Operations Manager.The role of the Operations Manager is to ensure the Park facilities are operating, maintained and presented to the highest possible standards while continually striving to improve standards and processes to strengthen customer relationships ensuring the successful growth of the Park.

The successful candidate must be flexible, enthusiastic, take pride in their work and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of the team and have a willingness to turn their hand to other tasks when required.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and preparing the Parks operational revenue and capital expenditure budget
  • Implementing approved budgets and controlling them accordingly to ensure achievement of profitability target through lines of direct reports.
  • Managing Park operations to the highest standards through the promotion of a consistently high quality of customer service. Implementing a continual property and grounds maintenance program, also to identify potential opportunities for Park development.
  • Promoting the highest level of administrative standards and full audit compliance of Health & Safety for the full park operation
  • Knowledge of the Holiday Home Sales process and carry out new customer welcome meetings when required
  • Assist with customer feedback and complaints, ability to oversee bookings and update information. Daily standard checks around all areas to identify and eradicate potential guest frustrations
  • Creating a people plan to adequately resource the park to effectively service client needs and expectations and to further develop and enhance Park operations.

Requirements:

  • Committed to exemplary customer service and standards driven
  • Be self-motivated with a strong desire to drive continuous development and improvements
  • Be a great communicator with both to external and internal customers
  • Have a flexible attitude to working hours because this role will include weekends, bank holidays, evenings, etc.
  • Experience in the hospitality/leisure industry is preferable coupled with previous experience of multi department management
