Golf Team - Hurtmore Golf Club, Godalming

We are excited to announce that we are currently recruiting for Golf Team at Hurtmore Golf Club, Godalming, Surrey. Hurtmore Golf Club is part of the Hoburne Group which owns 3 golf courses as well as 7 holiday parks in the south of England.

This is a dual aspect role with hours split between the golf and food and beverage departments. Hours are varied as necessitated by the needs of the business.

The role of the Golf Team is to assist in the operation and administration of the retail shop, Members, Pay & Play and Society booking systems and procedures in line with the Company’s standards and requirements. 

The successful applicant will be customer focused have good time management and be able to use their initiative.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a high standard of support in golf operations.
  • Providing an efficient buggy hire service.
  • To carry out the opening and closing down procedures of both the shop and act as the key holder as required.
  • To provide information and a booking service to all customers via telephone, correspondence or in person.
  • To assist in the maintenance of the shop retail operation to the Company’s standards and requirements.
  • To assist the Golf Operations Manager in all aspects of Golf as required.
  • Actively promote the membership offerings of the Club and Hoburne Golf.
  • To identify and report all maintenance issues and repairs and deal with where appropriate
  • To take and issue receipts for all monies.
  • To participate in any training schemes as required by the Company.
  • To stay well informed of new trends and developments within the golf industry
  • Directs play on the golf course and ensures that pace of play is in line with company standards
