Firmly established in the east London dining scene, Mark Hix’s Tramshed, housed within a stunning grade-2 listed building in Shoreditch, has a menu that is brilliantly simple: starters to share and roast chicken or steak to follow.

Our clientele is eclectic and diverse, ranging from Hoxton haircuts to Houndsditch hedge funds, all looking to eat the best of British produce in stunning surroundings with unfussy service.

Currently we have a vacancy for a Restaurant Manager.

Working closely with and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be possessed with an abundance of charm and the ability to combine personality with professionalism.

You'll have a background in gastro or quality casual, be enthusiastic about food and drink, innately understand the demands of service, be a strong man manager, have a preternatural attention to detail, and feel confident in your aptitudes to run a team of 80+ in a demanding 200 cover 7 day site.

A firm grasp of BoH procedures including: managing wage costs; compiling payroll; controlling the p&l; monitoring maintenance, HR and H&S; supervising training; monthly reporting; stock ordering, recruiting, and a host of other skills will all be required.
