Team Member – Malhamdale, Skipton
- Job Title: Team Member – Hospitality (Part-Time / Live Out) Ref HF 20120
- Location: Newfield Hall, Malhamdale, Nr Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 4AA
- Hours of work: Part time
- Hourly rate: £8.21 - £8.72 per hour depending on age
To serve meals in the dining room and to clean and prepare guest rooms, public and dining rooms.
The roles’ responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To serve meals in the dining room.
- To serve afternoon tea.
- To assist in the preparation of picnic lunches.
- To clean and prepare guest rooms, public and dining rooms.
- To re-stock guest amenities in bedrooms as necessary
- To engage and interact with guests in a way that promotes a warm and friendly atmosphere within the Country House Hotel.
- To be aware of and comply with the Society’s policy on the Health & Safety At Work Act 1974, The Food Safety Act 1990(including Allergen Legislation), The Food and Hygiene Regulations and The Fire Regulations
- To undertake such other tasks as directed by management as if they were expressly written into this job description
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but the right attitude is.
- Be naturally outgoing & sociable.
- A good team player.
- Flexibility in working hours, availability at evenings and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
