Catering Shift Leader Catering Shift Leader
40 hours per week ~ varying shift patterns all year round.
We are seeking a Shift Leader to join our busy Catering department. The team provides a high standard of food for boys and staff, and for School conferences and functions.
Alongside the Catering Supervisors, you will organise and lead a diverse team of ten or more full-time, part-time and casual staff for each shift. You will also be required to deputise for the Catering Supervisors in their absence, ensuring the smooth running of the shift across all areas of the Catering department, including the Hill Café, the boys' dining hall, the servery and the plate-wash area. Manual handling will also be involved.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily breakfast, lunch and supper service. Applicants must be flexible, and a catering or hospitality background is desirable. The ideal candidate must be adaptable and available to work flexible hours, working five out of seven days including some evenings and weekends. A positive ‘can-do’ attitude is essential.
