Duty Manager - Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham

Is making guests happy your main motivation? Do you have experience working within a 4 or 5 Star Hotel?

As the Duty Manager at Woodlands Park Hotel you will ensure our guests have a warm welcome and a positive and memorable experience during their stay. You will be trained to undertake Duty Manager shifts within the Hotel. 

You will work closely with the reception team supporting with answering phone calls, pre-arrival calls  and check in and outs as required, guiding guests to their bedrooms, carrying their luggage and explaining the services available to them, making recommendations and co-ordinating restaurant bookings. You will also support with carrying out room checks prior to arrival.

Your character, personality and charm will make every guest instantly feel welcome and you will be a natural at handling challenges ensuring a positive resolution is always achieved.

About you:

• You will have recent experience working in Hotels within a Guest focused role or perhaps you have just completed a Management Training programme and are looking for the next step in your hospitality career.
• You will be a natural host with a professional, warm and welcoming manner, who can confidently interact with every guest from every age group – whether they are 5 or 95!
• You will be sales focused and confidently able to make restaurant and spa recommendations
• Experience in a reception or concierge role would be of benefit and your knowledge of the local area will ensure that right from the start you can help to help guide our guests looking for advice and recommendations during they stay
