Banqueting Sous Chef – £35,000 per annum – 4 days on 3 days off – Stanbrook Abbey Hotel – Worcester

We are looking for a Banqueting Sous Chef to join our family. Do you have what it takes to be Hand Picked?

Are you an experienced Chef looking to progress your Kitchen Management experience? We know the step from being a Sous Chef to Head Chef can be a big one so here at Hand Picked Hotels we aim to equip our Sous Chefs with the skills they need to take that step.

From involvement in office and paperwork responsibilities, to people management training courses and annual Sous Chef Master classes, we will help give you the exposure you need to develop your career as a Chef. And of course alongside all of that you get to do what you do best, create fantastic food in our professional kitchens.

As Banqueting sous chef you will work closely with the Head Chef on all aspects of the hotels busy banqueting bookings, and be responsible for the preparation and organisation of the department.

Stanbrook Abbey Hotel in Worcester has recently had a £4.2m renovation, meticulously designed to celebrate the country house hotel’s heritage, and introduced the new brasserie-style dining experience in The Refectory restaurant, situated in the site of the original nun’s cafeteria, as well as eight new bedrooms situated on the second floor with a further seven rooms built in the original schoolhouse in St Anne’s Wing, bringing the total number of bedrooms to 70.
