Junior Sous Chef - Rhinefield House Hotel, New Forest Hampshire

James Verity our Head Chef at Rhinefield House Hotel is looking a Junior Sous Chef to join his brigade.

This role involves food preparation and service for all of our food & Beverage outlets including our 2 AA Rosette restaurant, brasserie restaurant, weddings and events, afternoon teas and room service. We are looking for someone who wants to work as part of a talented and hardworking team, delivering consistently high quality food standards using fresh ingredients.

The role of Junior Sous Chef is a full time position working 45 hours per week over 5 days n a rota basis to include weekends.

About you:

  • You’ll have previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous within a similar environment
  • You’ll be a stickler for hygiene and be able to lead by example and demonstrate best practice
  • Your knowledge of food and technical skills will be outstanding
  • You’ll want to develop your skills and experience in order to help work with the Executive Head Chef to lead the brigade
  • Most of all, you’ll enjoy working as part of a team, encouraging junior members of the brigade and will have an approachable, positive and proactive manner
