About the Pub

The Bystander is located in the village of Wootton, close to Oxford and all its amenities. It is the only pub in the village and is a pub at the heart of its community! Pool, darts teams thriving. Love's it sports and performed brilliantly during the World Cup for all games not just England. Raises money for Macmillan through regulars and locals. Team are all local and love their locals! Refurbishment due in July 2019 with a great look, plenty of external seating which will really bring the pub to life for the summer. It will boast a brand new immaculate interior and established rhythm of the week.
The Bystander needs a fantastic General Manager who will capitalize on the great work done over the last 12 months and take the pub and its team to the next level. We are looking for a dynamic, people person who will revel in giving this community and pub the great leadership team it needs
