About the General Manager Role

About the Pub

The Black Horse is a proper community local which offers a brilliant opportunity for the right candidate to regain it's place in Trowbridge and grow sales. It's had a tough year, and is in significant sales decline, however there is a robust plan in place to support a turn around in fortunes, and just needs the right manager to lead the team.
There is a loyal customer base, with a lot of mature customers as well as a good following for sky sports. Food sales are strong and there is lots of opportunity to build further.
Refurbed 3 years ago, the trading area has good zoning for sport viewing & playing pool as well as relaxing and dining.
There is a nice back garden and decking, which is a bit of a sun trap in the summer.
The team include an assistant manager and long serving chef.
