Floor Supervisor - Grange Hotels, London

Grange Hotels, a private collection of luxury hotels primarily located in the heart of the world's most exciting city – London.

We are now looking to recruit Floor Supervisor to join our team.The ideal candidates should be polite, friendly, with good customer service skills and have previous experience in similar role and have a passion to make a career within the hospitality industry. Successful candidate needs to be ready to work for 6 days / week = 45 hrs /week.

General Functions:

  • To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are sustained in the allocated section of the hotel.
  • To organise, motivate and monitor the performance of housekeeping staff whilst meeting company cost control targets.
  • Keep daily record of vacant rooms, departures and stay-ons and housekeeping staff on duty.
  • Obtain a copy housekeeping reports, VIP rooms and group arrivals from the Head Housekeeper.
  • Notify the Head Housekeeper of any linen and other stock needs.
  • Ensuring any special requests are passed to relevant staff and completed.
  • Keep record of extra items e.g. irons, hair-dryers, extra beds, heaters, fans, blankets etc.
  • Ensure all lost property is collected, reported and stored safely following established procedures whilst maintaining accurate record of lost property.
  • Collect and pass guest feedback comment cards to Guest Relations/Front of House Manager/General Manager.
  • Check all vacant room and report any changes.
  • Allocate rooms for spring-cleaning daily.
  • Ensure corridors, public areas, service areas and cupboards are cleaned to an established standard.
  • Ensure linen cupboards are stocked with clean linen and dirty linen is collected, sorted and bagged for collection.
