Restaurant Reporting & Assurance Executive - Farringdon, London
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is a key member of the GBK Finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller with a dotted line to key senior figures such as the Finance Director and the Operations Director. They will be responsible for the production of daily analysis reports as well as forming a crucial element of the restaurant Internal Audit process. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for Operators in relation to all Internal Audit matters. Executive
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DATABASE MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for maintaining the Stocklink Database, including:
- The upload of any new supplier product details including key information (i.e. allergens etc.)
- The upload of any new menu items produced by our product team, including all key information as required by the operators
- Configuration and continual update of a user-friendly design for the EPOS system to support operations
INTERNAL AUDIT
- Responsible for the design, implementation and upkeep of all Restaurant process related guidance, including:
- All “Way to Go” (WTG) documents
- Back office audit related matters
- Any other relevant documents to support best practice across the restaurants
- Responsible for the independent audit of GBK restaurants in relation to the above standards (each restaurant to be reviewed annually)
- Key contact for all Surefoot related audit matters
DAILY ANALYSIS
- Responsible for the accurate and timely production of daily reports comprising:
- Daily sales vs budget report
- Daily LFL sales report
- Daily discounts and complimentary sales report
- Daily labour report
- Daily sales and labour adjustments report
WEEKLY ANALYSIS
- Responsible for the accurate and timely production of daily reports comprising:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely production of weekly reports comprising:
- Group Weekly Report (consisting of sales, cost of sales and labour analysis vs budget and prior year)
- Weekly segmental and area sales analysis
- Sales and labour adjustments by week
- Weekly sales vs budget
- Weekly LFL sales by category
AD-HOC
- Ad-hoc requests for information from the Finance Director and Senior Management
- Ad-hoc analysis required for the production of seasonal new menus
- Production of Quarterly Internal Audit reporting for GBK’s parent company Famous Brands
- Assist with any Stocklink related matters
- Ad-hoc requests / queries from sites
