Job Purpose

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support our 5 amazing food traders in The Courtyard, you’ll find New York favourite, Sushi On Jones, Pomelo – fine British tapas by the faces behind the acclaimed Lupins restaurant, Temple Of Seitan with their pioneering vegan fast food, Breddos Tacos conjuring up the bold flavours of Mexico’s roadside taquerias and Duck Truck, Spitalfields’ obscenely popular street food outlet and experts in all things duck.

Main Responsibilities

• Providing a consistently high level of customer service
• Complying with and following licensing regulations, Company procedures and policies
• Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
• Attend and complete all training provided
• Maintain operational standards
• Ensure that all food outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the wash room
• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible
• Collect and wash up plates, utensils, cooking equipment
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery
• Unload food and equipment deliveries
• Keep the storeroom organised
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised

Requirements

• Must be able to work Evenings, Weekends and Late Nights
• Have a genuine passion for what you do
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively under pressure for a high volume site
• Previous experience working as Kitchen Porter - Desirable
