Goods Way is the brand new dynamic, diverse venue at King’s Cross. Here you can see a gig at Lafayette, eat amazing street food at The Courtyard, hang out in Sweetwater, the New-Orleans style cocktail bar or party the night away at one of our club nights.

Location: Goods Way

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £11.50ph

Job Purpose

To deliver excellent guest experience in a busy, fast paced environment

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing a consistently high level of customer service
  • Complying with and following licensing regulations, Company procedures and policies
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Attend and complete all training provided
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of our menu
  • Maintain operational standards
  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly
  • Maintain a clean and organised FOH environment
  • Scanning tickets for gig and club entry
  • Manage the flow of guests into the Courtyard and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
  • Learn food and beverage menus
  • Managing reservation booking system
  • Queue Management
  • Providing tours of the venue

Requirements

  • Previous host experience
  • Must be able to work Evenings, Weekends and Late Nights
  • Have a genuine passion for what you do
  • Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Previous experience working private events, gigs, club nights - Desirable
  • Previous experience working with reservation systems ideally SevenRooms - Desirable
