Assistant Venue Manager - King's Cross, London

Role profile

Goods Way is a multi-faceted, F&B, music and events destination from Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons; combining world class live music, London’s most exciting food traders and an exceptional drinks program across a buzzing food court, 6 bars and Lafayette; a 600 capacity concert venue.

We are searching for an experienced assistant venue manager to lead a like-minded team who are inspired by music, obsessed with hospitality and care deeply about the customer experience.

The role is to assist with delivering an efficient and effective service, making sure that our customers and artists receive a service and experience that will always exceed their expectations. Working alongside the front of house team, technicians, promoters, agents, site management and security they will deliver best in class gigs, clubnights and private events.

Accountabilities

  • Assistant in overseeing the day to day operation of Lafayette venue
  • First Aid responsibilities in line with company training
  • Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety and Hygiene
  • Adhering to legislation and college policies in Food Hygiene, HACCP, Fire & Evacution, Health and Safety, Liquor Licensing law and weights and measures
  • Protect the premises license by ensuring adherence to the license conditions and other licensing laws
  • Deliver best in class gig operation alongside technical teams
  • Assist with advancing to delivery of each Lafayette event
  • Continuously develop operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Customer experience excellence

  • Ensure there is a consistent high level of service, which goes beyond guests
