We're looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to run the room for 0 - 2 year olds at Sutton Day Nursery, Sutton Sports Village in Sutton, Surrey. Our Nurseries provide childcare and welfare for children of up to five years of age, so it's imperative that the facilities and surroundings provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you'll provide and oversee care for all the children in our nursery and ensure your team of nursery practitioners are supported to provide a high-quality service where children can play, learn, socialise and develop in a friendly and welcoming environment. You'll support the Nursery Manager in maintaining good links with the parents and wider community and forge relationships with parents and families to help support their children's learning and progress.

It goes without saying that you're passionate about working with babies and children but you'll also need to be professionally qualified with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, understanding of Ofsted regulations and an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS framework and principles. Responsible and well-organised, you'll provide an environment where health and safety is of paramount importance be that from the physical environment and room set up to dietary requirements and allergies. A natural leader, you'll be a good role model to your team, providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care to the children under your supervision.
