General Supervisors - Gin & Juice - Swansea

We are looking for a charismatic, competent head supervisors to form a key members of our new bar (Gin and Juice/ Rum & Fizz) in Oyster Wharf in The Mumbles, Swansea. The role will offer significant opportunities for personal development and growth in a vibrant environment

Gin and Juice is an all-day eating & drinking venue, open from 8.30am in the morning for brunch & coffee, all the way through to the night where our impressive selection of over 450 gins take centre stage.  Our Rum & Fizz bar will be an extension to the Gin bar offering a wide selection of Rums and fantastic cocktails. Our Gin & Juice Grill will serve simple, honest food through out the day and evening.. On the ground floor will be a small espresso bar (Coffee Barker)  which will offer great coffee, cakes and a selection of  freshly made sandwiches. This will just operate during the days and will be separate to the rest of the bars.

As a supervisor….

  • You will support the Head of department and taking the lead while they are not on shift.
  • You will ensure the levels of service are impeccable and that our guests are well looked after.  Delivering the most instagrammable food and drinks to the guests.
  • You will be responsible for welcoming our and their guests and maintaining the right atmosphere with in the bar.
  • There will be elements of cash handling, such as cashing up at the end of a shift
  • You will be in charge of training new staff 
  • Previous supervisor experience is preferred, however is not necessary. Bar experience is essential, Barista experience is encouraged.
  • You MUST have experience of working within a branded/premium Bar environment and be comfortable in dealing with a high volume bar
  • Finally have a passion for gin.
