Front of House Roles

Cashier – The core function of a GDK cashier is to take the guest’s order and to exceed guest satisfaction through friendly engagement. The cashier promotes the services and products offered in the store, handles cash and sales transactions.

Order Assembler – this person is responsible for giving our guests fast and friendly service always. Assembling the guest’s order and ensuring that every guest’s needs and wants are properly attended to in the best possible way. Key roles include ensuring accurate delivery of orders, providing correct information regarding our products. This role also includes maintaining the cleanliness of dining area tables, chairs and any other guest area. The assembler is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the dispatch area.

Back of House Roles

Back of House Team – this person is responsible for all food preparation and cleanliness of the back of house areas. the back of house will prepare the food as per the company and food safety standards, ensuring that all guests’ orders are prepared in a correct and timely manner whilst maintaining food safety standards. They are also responsible in maintaining the store’s ideal food cost by ensuring proper inventory, preparation and portioning of food. They are also in charge of maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area at all times. The back of house teams are lead by the doner master who has been fully trained in all areas of back of house and has mastered the key skills to running our kitchens. all team members will be trained and given an opportunity to develop their skills to the level of doner master so that they can run not only busy shifts but their on kitchen one day.

All team members are required to maintain high levels of performance. Our aim is to ensure that every guest at GDK receives fresh and safe food served by friendly team members in a timely manner and in a clean pleasant store. Our job descriptions show the expectations of GDK.
