Senior Sales Manager - Mayfair, London

Gaucho have an exciting new opportunity to join the Head Office as our Senior Sales Manager!

This is a perfect role for someone with group level hospitality experience in the restaurant sector, focusing solely on sales.

The role reports directly in to the Brand and Marketing Director with the sole intention of delivering covers over and above that which the business would already generate, additional revenue and revenue streams, supporting the business at all times with a robust, proven strategy.

  5. Cultivate excellent relationships with prospect and existing guests/businesses who may be or become guests of Gaucho 

Objective

  • To personally maximise all relevant, on brand sales opportunities across the business, in both London and regional sites.
  • Give regular, guidance, time, knowledge and support to the restaurants and bars within the business. 
  • Provide expert knowledge, insight and proactive initiative at all times throughout the year, paying particular attention to both known and unexpected need times that may arise, following business trends to ensure a full understanding is prevalent in all you do.
  • Support the business by driving larger than usual sales volumes including on brand campaigns resulting in covers via suitable third party relationships (both new and existing), group bookings, events and additional revenue streams including the box at the 02 arena. 
  • Search and continually deliver new opportunities. Identify new revenue streams.
  • Manage and coach the support team/s including anyone who handles sales enquiries, central reservations, group bookers, and individual event managers of each site.
  • Carry out and deliver all responsibilities to the highest level of quality, elevating the business on all levels and doing so with integrity, diligence, and impeccable execution. 
  • Managing time effectively, spreading this across office based time, calendarised, monthly meetings and time spent in each restaurant as approved by your line manager.
  • Set a solid, comprehensive, understandable, clear sales strategy for the wider business and individual sites which you manage, control and deliver against above and beyond expectations. 
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure there is no overlap, that all projects are delivered seamlessly and thoroughly, with follow up from each activation where required, including ROI reporting, booking platforms are all up to date and correctly displaying relevant information 
  • Regular and imperative tracking, reporting back to the management team/your line manager on all activations, offers and revenue generated.
  • Advance plan and communicate an annual calendar of long term, mid term and short term activity to surpass the businesses expectations, always striving to over deliver and go above and beyond what is expected. 
  • Maintain professional, personable relationships with all internal key stakeholders in the business, and external to the business, presenting yourself in an astute way at all times whilst working under the brand as it regains peoples confidence and turns a corner. 
  • Works to and delivers against pre set targets, tracking revenue and business brought to the table with an approved, agreed manner that the business is happy with.
  • Encourages and promotes repeat business, retaining a solid contact book with existing, previous and new contacts which is kept in a clear, concise contact database.
  • Manage and execute against a proper, thorough sales pipeline which is regularly reviewed.
  • Control and manage all company trackers including F&B offers, covers, sales trackers and suite trackers ensuring all information is relevant; correctly listed and showing accurate information.
