Financial Accountant 50,000 - 65,000 per annum Dublin

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant with an immediate start. This role will be based between CPU Bray and TikTok Dublin. 

Location: Dublin

Rate of pay: €50,000 - €65,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Hybrid (2 days from home)


Objectives & Responsibilities

  • This is a pivotal role in supporting the business. The position will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting of the monthly results, ensuring they reflect the current performance of the business and driving initiatives as required.
  • The individual must be a good communicator, have excellent stakeholder management skills, be an effective influencer, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties

  • Working with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts ensuring integrity, accuracy, consistency and providing clear visibility of the financial health of the business.
  • Business Partner to assist Operational Managers to drive accountability / transparency / insight to control costs / maximize revenue.
  • Weekly Flash reporting to track business performance.
  • Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes and deliver business growth objectives.
  • Partnering with the business leads to prepare full annual operating plans and periodic forecasts.
  • Close working relationship with Operations to ensure accurate and timely billing, efficient payroll reporting and driving improvements in the working capital.
  • Detailed financial analysis and presentation of financial information to support decision making.
  • Ad hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.
  • Develop and report KPI’s relevant to the business.
  • Support operations teams with cost management of client contract costs.
  • Support Ad hoc requests as requested by client.

Skills Training & Qualifications 

  • Part qualified / recently qualified accountant.
  • Hospitality and events experience (2 years). 
  • Advanced Excel skills. 
  • Able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines.
