Fusion Lifestyle are recruiting for a Campaigns and Products Marketing Manager to deliver tactical, brand and seasonal campaigns plans and execute across all marketing channels in support of the Fusion business plan with a view to grow customer numbers, customer retention, revenue and profitability.

Fusion is a leading Sports, Leisure and Fitness operator. A registered charity, the company mission is to bring health and well-being to communities across the UK. With a breadth of facilities from Gym & Fitness studios to Outdoor Adventure, Football and Athletics, the business is continually growing and investing in the transformation of venues at the heart of the community. In addition to over 90 dynamic venues offering mainstream & specialist sports and leisure, the business has also developed some exciting new brands such as INTENCITY (HIIT fitness studio concept) Total Football (5 a side league venue), Bickel’s Yard (proprietary café concept), and has a pipeline of innovation development.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Take campaigns to the next level creating industry leading activity using innovative and effective channels to market, first class creative and delivered cost effectively. This will include ownership for creating the content, copy-writing and producing effective branded customer communications.
  • Create and deliver our rolling calendar of campaign activity aimed at maximizing business KPI’s primarily around, revenue (across all revenue areas, memberships, swim school, junior activities, Intencity etc.) retention and participation.
  • Support the Fusion pipeline of new business/innovation (Bickels Yard, Total Football) and identify key growth opportunities for Marketing activity
  • Manage a roster of creative and production agencies (print, digital, PR, promotions)
  • Own the central calendar of Marketing activity
  • Budget management & demonstrating return on all investments
  • Align & prioritise activity, spend and resource with revenue opportunities and company business plan
  • Measurement and evaluation of all activity
  • Custodian of the Fusion repertoire of brands (corporate, local, sub-brand franchises) proving guidance on adhering to brand guidelines and style guide
  • Lead a social media strategy and support regional activity with a toolkit of activity, assets and events
  • Identify and develop strategic brand partnerships for strategic campaigns
  • Deliver tactical sales-driving campaigns (SMS, email) in support of the business needs
  • Planning and managing marketing resources to ensure that activities are implemented effectively, on schedule and within budget
  • Managing and reporting on delivery against plan and objectives
  • Collaborating with (and influencing) other functions and disciplines internally and externally
  • Recruiting, coaching and developing junior members of the marketing team, as required
  • Regular internal consultation with commercial and operation teams regarding campaign activity & plans and reporting on results achieved.

Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of online accounting and PO systems
  • Knowledge of online project management systems (desirable)
  • Proficient in the use of web content management systems (CMS)
  • Proficient in the use of social media, email marketing, web analytics and CRM platforms
  • Good knowledge of digital advertising platforms and business models, including Google Adwords and Google Display Network

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent creative writing skills and standards of written English
  • Strong maths, statistics and analytical abilities
  • Proven experience of data manipulation
  • Good verbal and written communicator
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent understanding of customer segmentation and targeting
  • Aptitude for all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO/PPC, email marketing, mobile marketing, eCRM and social media
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Able to create a network of peers and build relationships across the business
  • Able to work across several projects and manage time effectively

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role, specifically within a multi-site sales orientated environment. Whilst this role will be based from our Head Office in London, you should be willing to travel extensively nationwide if needed.
