Fusion is hiring a Nursery Deputy that is passionate about childcare, to provide support in our nursery at Chase Sports & Fitness. Our centres cater for the entire family and as a Nursery Deputy you will provide a safe, interactive, interesting environment for young children, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and maintenance of the area, maintaining accurate records and adhering to the Fusion Safeguarding policy. You will also be required to take responsibility in the absence of the Nursery Supervisor.

The successful Nursery Deputy will have:

  • Nationally recognised NVQ level 3 childcare qualification
  • At least 2 years experience of working in a Nursery
  • Good knowledge of The Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted requirements
  • Have a clear understanding of any Safeguarding Children Issues
  • Knowledge of child development and early years learning
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly in relation to building trust and rapport with children and their parents
