About the role of Commis Waiter/Waitress in Mei Ume: 

• To thoroughly understand Four Seasons’ quality standards in food presentation, beverage and service and implement them. 

• To communicate effectively with the Kitchen through regular contact before, during and after service. 

• To ensure a clean, stocked station for the smooth running of assigned station. 

• To prepare appropriate mise-en-place for Restaurant. 

• To ensure the food pick up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner. 

• To serve bar snacks according to correct service procedures. 

 

The ideal Commis Waiter/Waitress candidate will have: 

• At least one year’s experience as a Commis Waiter/Waitress 

• Passion for service 

• Good communications skills with a good command of the English language, both written and spoken 

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a high paced environment
