Role profile

We are looking for an experienced and confident Host to join the team at our iconic London venue Flat Iron Square.

Our Host will be a key part of our welcome team and therefore we are looking for engaging, well presented, courteous and articulate individual. As a Host you will be responsible for greeting our customers and seating our reservation customers.

You will be responsible for using our reservation system to optimise table turns and utilise our capacities during busy times. Customer recognition is absolutely crucial in this role as is the ability to converse with all our customers in a warm and friendly way. Our Host will support the management and bars team throughout service.

Key Duties

  • Providing a consistently high level of customer service
  • Complying with and following licensing regulations, company procedures and policies
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Attend and complete all training provided
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of our menu
  • Maintain operational standards
  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly
  • Maintain a clean and organised FOH environment
  • Managing reservation booking system
  • Queue Management
  • Providing tours of the venue

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer facing environment is essential
  • Impeccable appearance with an engaging personality
  • A natural presence and confident communication
  • Possess an excellent command of the English language
  • Be an excellent team player
  • A passion for food and the hospitality industry is desirable
