We are currently looking for a People and Development Co-ordinator to join the Firmdale Group People and Development team.

This is a full time role, for which we are offering a competitive salary and benefits including Firmdale experience vouchers, free dry cleaning, additional holiday days that increase with length of service and development opportunities within the company

We are looking for an organised and friendly co-ordinator with excellent administrative skills and creativity. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the team, able to co-ordinate a busy office and adaptable to a broad range of tasks and initiatives.

Main Duties

  • Responsibility for the HR administration including management of employee files, starter and leaver processes and updating our HR system
  • Provide office cover and manage meetings and training, handling the enquiries that are received into the HR office, petty cash and invoices
  • Updating our online communications dashboard and ensuring our internal communications to the Company are creative and informative
  • Organising our HR events that are held throughout the year
  • Creating and filming our People videos
  • Collating HR metrics and compiling HR reports
  • Supporting the People and Development team, Managers and staff throughout the business to deliver inspirational service to our guests
  • Involvement in People and Development initiatives, contributing to the wider team goals and providing administrative solutions for the HR challenges within the business

Skills

  • An administrative background, preferably within the hospitality sector, previous experience creating videos and using Microsoft and databases are beneficial
  • A friendly and warm personality and committed to developing people within the business
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the industry and our people
  • A resilient nature and ability to take on board feedback to evolve the People and Development department at Firmdale
  • Ability to build great rapport and relationships with teams and our people
  • Great attention to detail, excellent communication skills and efficient
