An exciting opportunity has arisen for Hospitality Team Leaders, at ExCel London with ExCel London Hospitality

You will be part of a great team, who have a passion to serve our guests the best service in London. We hold a wide range of events such as, drink and canapé receptions on stands at exhibitions, gala dinners for up to 2000 covers, and conferences for leading companies.

Who we’re looking for

Bring us an enthusiastic, ambitious and confident approach, plus a genuine interest in our business, and in return we’ll give you a starting hourly wage of £8.50 per hour, plus holiday pay once accrued and an opportunity to develop and progress.

Are you a hardworking, passionate, and dedicated person? We want to meet you! Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training on the job will be given to everyone.

Hours vary depending on the event, shifts could be from 4 hours to 12 hours. If there are no hospitality shifts, then we can also offer you work within our retail units.

Requirements

Job Overview:

• Supervision of all employees assigned to your unit or area during the event.
• Ensure a full briefing is completed at the beginning of each shift.
• Assist fellow employees when necessary.
• Promote a cooperative work climate, maximising productivity and morale.
• Follow key steps of service.
• Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing.
• Effectively use suggestive sales and upselling techniques.
• Ensure all products are fully displayed and merchandised appropriately.
• Ensure guest expectations have been met and exceeded at all times.
