COMPANY BACKGROUND

Escape Hunt is the global leader in escape-the-room entertainment which is becoming a significant trend in the leisure and entertainment industry. Through its franchise partners, Escape Hunt operates 250 rooms in over 50 cities around the world. Over the next 18 months, Escape Hunt will open 18 new owned and operated sites in the UK with approximately 80 rooms.

Experiential entertainment activities have evolved dramatically in recent years with breakout or escape room games being one of the most recent and significant developments. Escape Hunt has positioned itself as the leader in both the development and production of experiential games as well as the operation of experiential entertainment venues.

The company operates in a fragmented but increasingly professionalised market with relatively few established competitors in which the majority of venues are run by small local operators.  With growing awareness, consumer demand and an almost unlimited customer base spanning families, students, young professionals and corporates the opportunities are significant and Escape Hunt is poised for rapid growth.

In May 2017, Escape Hunt became the first “escape room” company to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, highlighting the growing popularity of this leisure activity among consumers and investors.
