Ashdown Park Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Fine Dining Brigade Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club is a stunning grade two listed country house set in 186 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. An award winning 4 red star Hotel, fine dining two rosette Anderida Restaurant and fully equipped Country Club and Spa, we offer our guests a complete experience. Overview: As Senior Sous Chef at Ashdown Park Hotel you will assist a busy kitchen with the responsibility of preparing meals for large functions, afternoon teas as well as beautiful individual dishes for our 2 rosette restaurant. The Senior Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in the management of the kitchen with a professional, friendly brigade that produces exceptional quality food items to the highest standards. You will oversee the team ensuring that the food is correctly prepared, cooked and presented. You will give efficient and smooth service through forward planning and organisation. You will become part of a close knit team with a passion for amazing food! Attributes/Experience: As a Senior Sous Chef you should have a passion for freshly prepared quality food and want to excel in a busy, fast paced environment. You will be able to communicate clearly and think and act quickly. This role is perfect for someone who has already managed a team of at least 4 people and who seriously wants to make a career within a high standard, passionate and driven environment. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, have relevant experience as detailed above and relevant qualifications. Candidates must also be prepared to work shift patterns to include weekends, bank holidays and splits shifts.
