Deputy Manager in the Bar and Lounge Department Tylney Hall is a beautiful 4 red star hotel in stunning gardens set in rural Hampshire. Position Overview: This beautiful 4 red star hotel with a 5 star reputation needs a confident hard working individual to help to manage our busy Bar and Lounge Department. The service offered from this department includes light lunches, drinks and of course our delectable afternoon teas to name just a few! The Deputy Manager, Bar & Lounge assists the Department Manager in delivering the Hospitality and Service offered to every single guest by themselves and by their team. Our Management team are commercially and financially aware and are able to influence the 'bottom line' figures. They also communicate and plan effectively with all other departments on a two way basis ensuring that the service is seamless in the guests' eyes. Of course, we expect our Deputy Bar/Lounge Manager to have an understanding of our legal responsibilities relating to; food hygiene, health and safety and fire regulations just to mention a few......and lastly, we encourage all of our Managers to treat their staff in a way that will allow them to grow, be involved in the business, develop as an individual, and achieve their full potential. We are in a rural location near Hook/Basingstoke so you will need to have access to transport, with staff accommodation available for the right applicant.
Attributes/Experience: Our Deputy Manager, Bar & Lounge will be someone who is happy to work a flexible rota - this area of the hotel is open every day of the week for long hours. A high command of English is crucial. Excellent customer service skills are needed as well as being extremely well presented (we are looking for someone who is business like, but also a natural Host). Experience in 'Food and Beverage' work and having experience leading a team of at least 5 people is essential for this position. The successful candidate needs to be computer literate, assisting with rota's in our Personnel and Payroll Management system Fourth Hospitality, and responding to emails as required.
