Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Eastbourne, East Sussex 

• The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Manager by ensuring that all Food and Beverage departments run smoothly throughout the hotel.
• You will be working hours as required, including evenings and weekends. You will also be required to carry out duty management shifts.
• The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will encourage staff and ensure that the hotel operates profitably by demonstrating excellent 'hands on' leadership which will include assisting with departmental recruitment, training and performance management. 

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Key Attributes

• Have experience of supervising a team and resolving conflict.
• Have proven experience as a head of department within a food and beverage department of a similar high- quality establishment.
• Be able a team player with a resilient and confident personality.
• Be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and a Point of Sale system such as Squirrel or Micros.
• Have knowledge of stock taking and have great financial awareness.
• Possess a ‘can do’ attitude, attention to detail and be able to use their own initiative.
