Alongside the opportunity to work with Chris Mouyiassi - a member of The Masterchefs of Great Britain and our Executive Head Chef, you will also have the chance to develop our kitchen garden along with foraging within our extensive grounds for the freshest ingredients.

We are also able to offer assistance with relocation, accommodation, free meals, whites and safety shoes, a share of service charge and a reasonable work-life balance.

The salary for this role is in the region of £28,000 plus service charge ( approx. £1,800* per annum, *depended on sales) and annual bonus.

Sous Chef - Fine Dining Overview:

The Sous Chef's role will be to support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the Wernher Kitchen operation. To ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety reporting is up to date. Assist in maintaining standards set by the Head Chef and ensuring that quality products and ingredients are used and served at all times. The Sous Chef will create and deliver seasonal menus for our 2 rosette Wernher Restaurant.

Sous Chef - Fine Dining Attributes/Experience:

• Relevant experience in 4-5 Star kitchens. NVQ level 1&2 or similar. Level 3 beneficial
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
• Have an understanding of Fine Dining to 2 rosettes
• Can produce and deliver menus of fine dining level and quality
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, confident to run service and train the team.
