Tylney Hall Hotel have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our Head Chef Mike Lloyd who held three rosettes in his last position. Working 5 days out of 7, starting at 5.30am.

 

Tylney Hall Hotel is a beautiful 4 red Star Hotel with 112 bedrooms, set in the heart of 66 acres of glorious parkland and boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire. With a 2 rosette Restaurant we are committed to delivering hospitality to the highest standard. Our facilities include spa treatment rooms and leisure facilities including both an indoor and an outdoor pool and banqueting facilities which are second to none.

The Breakfast Chef role:

 

The breakfast chef will be required to join a brigade of 18 chefs producing quality 'made from fresh' dishes as one off specialities or 'en mass' for large functions. They will be familiar with all menu items and prepare/present dishes for service to the highest standards. They will ensure the correct preparation, cooking and presentation of food the highest standards in conjunction with section head. The Breakfast Chef will build good working relationships with colleagues and other departments and will complete any reasonable task as requested by management.

 

 

 

 

The Breakfast Chef will:

 

 

 

 

• Show a desire to develop themselves and show creativity and passion in their work.
• Be clean and tidy workers who plan ahead and conform to all food safety legislation.
• Love what they do, and remain calm under pressure.
• Will need to be aware that due to the nature of the business, the normal shift pattern will include straight shifts, bank holidays and weekends. Work pattern is 5 days out of 7.

NOTE - We are in a rural location so own transport is essential. We are two miles from Hook and around 6 miles from Basingstoke. Live in accommodation available for the right candidate.
