Front of House Apprentice
to join our Reception and Concierge team. Luton Hoo, one of the country's finest 5 star hotels, is set in the heart of 1065 acres of historic gardens and parkland. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are passionate about providing first class customer service to exceed our guests' expectations. Front of House Apprentice Overview
This is a new, exciting opportunity to complete a Front Office or Hospitality Service apprenticeship within a 5 * hospitality environment within our Reception and Concierge team. The Front of House Apprentice will play an important part in the Reception/Concierge function, dealing with all arrivals and departures. You shall be required to assist them with their luggage and ensure that they are made comfortable during their stay. You will be on hand to answer any guest queries and provide guests with information such as local restaurants, local tourism and transport needs from a train to a chauffer-driven car. This is a very customer focused position and will require you to think on your feet. This role will involve cash handling and credit card transactions as well as taking reservations and answering the switchboard. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on front of house experience whilst working towards your qualification. Attributes/Experience

  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
