Senior Accounts Team member - London

EL&N is London’s most Instagrammable café, and we are on the lookout for a Senior Accounts team member to join our team as we expand throughout the UK! If you are looking for the next step in your career, look no further.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Sales

  • Preparing sales invoices
  • issuing invoices / statements to customers
  • Chasing Debtors / Credit control

Purchase

  • Ensure correct authorisation process followed before entering invoices in books. Working closely with Stock/Procurement department to keep purchase ledger and pricing up to date

Reconciliations

  • P&L reviews – diligence on cost nominals and ensure correct costs in correct cost centres
  • Completing all Balance sheet reconciliations (takings, suppliers, customer, prepayments, accruals. Third party accounts)

Reporting

  • Preparing Monthly Management accounts and presenting to Board/senior management
  • updating cashflow forecast and monitoring it regularly
  • Preparing and updating Debtor’s report for Management
  • Any other Adhoc reporting

Statutory Submissions

  • VAT Returns, Preparation, Checking
  • YE Accounts preparation / Submission
  • Confirmations statements / updated changes on Companies house

IT Skills

  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Quick learning ability to adopt with new systems

General Skills

  • High level of attention to details
  • Business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and Communication skills as this role requires a strong credit control and debtor chase function

Experience

  • At least 3-4 years in total
  • 1-2 Years in a senior role
