The job role of Restaurant Floor Manager:

Duck & Waffle offers a playful take on traditional British cuisine with broad European influences emphasizing local, rustic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Dishes are designed for sampling and sharing and are complemented by an iconoclastic cocktail experience served in a vibrant atmosphere that welcomes guests 24/7. 

We are looking for a strong Restaurant Floor Manager to assist in the management of this iconic location.

As Restaurant Floor Manager you will supervise daily restaurant operations, maintains sanitation standards and assists the FOH staff on the floor providing exemplary hospitality.

The perfect Restaurant Floor Manager will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisor role preferably in high-end, fast paced brand
• Experience with managing a team
• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships within the team and guests 
• Efficient communications skills with high level of both spoken and written English
• Ability to motivate and drive the team to meet targets whilst delivering excellent customer service
• A passion for hospitality and customer service
• Ability to work under pressure
• Availability to work flexible hours 
• Understanding of UK Employment laws and hospitality related government regulations
