Internationally acclaimed Taiwanese Brand Din Tai Fung will be opening its inaugural restaurant in the UK in 2018 and is looking for talented individuals to pioneer this initiative.

Have a passion for culinary arts? As a Chef de Partie, you will join a dedicated team of F&B professionals in the Dim Sum Kitchen, serving up world famous Taiwanese signatures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Has shift responsibilities and is accountable for the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Assist in preparation of ingredients for Senior Chef de Partie
  • Demonstrate great dumpling folding techniques and skills
  • Check availability and ensure quantity of ingredients in outlet
  • Ensure food items are consistently prepared according to company’s standards of quality and operations
  • Prepare Dim Sum in collaboration with colleagues
  • Assist in conducting training for colleagues to maintain consistent highest possible of product quality and conduct in a first-class manner
  • Responsible for food sales and wastage
  • Enforce hygiene regulations and upkeep kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards

 

 

Educational Qualification/ Experience / Skills and Competencies Requirements:

  • The following is preferred:  BTEC HND in professional cookery;
  • City and Guilds diplomas in professional cookery; Health and
  • Safety or food hygiene courses.
  • At least 3 years practical culinary experience
