Maintenance Person - Bristol
As a Maintenance Person you will be supporting the store team to ensure that the store is a safe working environment. Providing technical advice to management, staff and external parties, you will also carry out statutory and Company routine testing of equipment/machinery and ensure that the store complies with all Health and Safety legislation.
This is a fully flexible role and will require you to work up to 5 out of 7 full days per week for which rotas will be provided 4 weeks in advance (including weekends & bank holidays). The days and times for each shift may vary depending on the business needs.Skills
You will be a highly proactive individual who has a logical and organised approach, good communication skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities. You should be confident working with equipment, have an excellent knowledge of Health and Safety matters and have good DIY/handyperson skills. Heavy lifting can be involved, you should also feel comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights. You must also be PC literate and have a good level of electrical knowledge.
Experience
You will need to be able to plan and implement ongoing maintenance programmes within the store whilst liaising with external contractors if required, carry out risk assessments in accordance with Health and Safety policy and give guidance and support on any related issues.
