Part Time Housekeeper - Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa

A position has become available within the Housekeeping team at Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa. The team are looking for a Housekeeper to join them at their five star resort. This is a stunning resort located just outside the historic tourist town of Cheddar.

The successful candidate will work within the Housekeeping team to assist in the cleaning and presentation of both the rental accommodation and company premises on site, keeping them in line with the company’s high standards. This will include assisting in making up of laundry boxes and collecting clean and dirty linen. You will also work as part of the team cleaning windows within rental accommodation and ensuring general cleanliness of all guest accommodation.

We are looking for a determined and motivated individual who will be committed to providing a memorable experience for all guests to the park. Alongside this, previous customer service experience is an advantage.

Due to the use of the resort buggies, a full UK driving licence is essential to this role.

This is a permanent position to work part time hours. This will be variable hours, including weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the high standards of cleanliness within all rental accommodation and company buildings.
• Cleaning of all windows, inside and out, on all rental accommodation.
• Assist with delivery, collection and making up of laundry boxes.
• Checking Housekeeping inventories and replenishing as required, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Prompt reporting of lost and found property to Reception.

What experience you will need

• We are looking for someone with similar previous experience.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.

• Excellent customer service skills are essential to ensure high standards.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is essential due to the use of park buggies.
• Strong communication skills are key.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn new skills.
