Deputy Managers - New Opening, Stack Newcastle
The group behind You Only Live Once (Ponteland and Newcastle) and Hadrian’s Tipi are growing and we’d love you to grow with us. We’ve got BIG plans and we’re looking for a hospitality superstar to be a part of them!
Stack Newcastle is our company’s flag-ship opening this year. Situated at the bottom of Newcastle’s premier length of retail space, Stack will form the gateway to Northumberland Street. Comprising of almost 40 shipping containers arranged over 2 levels to create a large leisure, retail and hospitality venue, Stack will also form the new permanent home for our Hadrian’s Winter Wonderland event as well as other pop-up activities and bespoke events we have planned over the course of any given year. We are looking for strong, established Deputy Managers to aid our General Manager in leading a large management team in operating multiple wet-led businesses with-in the operation.
Candidates will be considered from high volume businesses from both in the hospitality and retail backgrounds. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are able to run a front of house operation to the highest standards whilst also offering exceptional levels of guest hospitality and service. In order to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of this busy operation, candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to manage large teams including Shift Management personnel. Understanding on-premises Licencing laws, having a good grasp on Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation, confident in Fire Safety and being a Personal Licence Holder are all skills which interest us in potential candidates.
As a company with an aggressive programme of growth planned for the next 6-18 months we can offer the right candidates the opportunity to progress to meet their career aspirations with us. Potential candidates wishing to apply for these two Deputy Manager vacancies must be a current Deputy or Assistant Manager with 12 months’ time-served in the role and experience of running the venue in the absence of the General Manager. The hours of work will vary between 7am and 1am over a 5 day working week which includes weekends.
