Who we are

A cow shed might be an unlikely place to discover a range of award-winning bath, body and skincare products but that's exactly where ours was born. Since opening our first spa in the old cowshed at Babington House in 1998, our ambition has been to create spas and products that are always honest, natural and true to our British heritage.

We now have spas in Soho House locations everywhere from Berlin to Miami, London to New York – and most recently, Soho House Istanbul and Soho Farmhouse – all with the relaxed, sociable atmosphere that’s so special to Cowshed.

Made in England, our award-winning products use the very best organic and wildcrafted plant extracts and mood-boosting essential oils to nourish mind, body and soul, whether you’re experiencing them in one of our spas or the comfort of your own bathroom.

Our Ingredients

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, our ‘moods’ allow you to choose the perfect product for however you’re feeling. So if you’re burnt out, the calming Lavender and uplifting Eucalyptus in our best-selling Knackered Cow range can help you unwind. Or if you’re stressed and irritable, Grumpy, which contains Red Mandarin and Bitter Orange extracts, can banish a bad mood, while doing lovely things to your skin and hair.

And while our names might be playful, we take our formulations very seriously; there are thoughtful scents to enhance your mood, truly indulgent textures and body products that really make a difference.

Speaking of spas, there’s no better way to discover what Cowshed is all about than by experiencing one of our signature treatments, which range from speedy manis to blissful body wraps and rejuvenating facials. You won't find any whale music or clanging cymbals in our spas - instead, we prefer a more home from home, sociable vibe, where you can relax and unwind with friends and make new ones too.
