We are seeking an exceptional Kitchen Porter to join the Claridge’s team.

Kitchen Porter Job Description

The kitchen porter will assist in the Back of House Operations of the hotel, mainly in the kitchen areas. This job involves manual work, heavy lifting and working with chemicals.

Some of the duties will involve moving of stock, cleaning, and operation of the dishwasher, cleaning pots, pans, utensils & crockery and keeping the kitchen areas clean & safe.

You must be flexible to work both day and evening shifts, with the earliest start being 7am and the latest finish 11pm. You will always have set days off each week. 

Kitchen Porter Requirements

Entry requirements for our Kitchen Porter opportunities:

  • Experience as Kitchen Porter within a hospitality environment would be beneficial
  • Good communicator and excellent team player
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment
  • High level of attention to detail
