Job Title: Marketing Executive
Department: Marketing, Fan Engagement
Reporting to: Marketing Manager, Fan Engagement
Job Function: Tasked with supporting the Marketing Manager in the implementation of marketing activations for two key growth pillars at the club;
Official Supporters Clubs - Take responsibility for delivering the regular activations, competitions and creating news stories in line with the Official Supporters Club content calendar. This also includes maintaining strong working relationships with all Club Secretaries.
Fan Club - Support the Marketing Manager on implementing the Fan Club strategy for the 2019/20 season, which would include delivering regular competitions, emails, activations and web and video content in line with the Fan Club content calendar. Provide reporting on Fan Club proposition and build relationships with fans through our CRM programme.

Job Deliverables (included but not limited to):

  • Support the Marketing Manager on implementing clear content calendar for both propositions, to maximise acquisition and loyalty throughout the season.
  • Day-to-day management of the Official Supporters Club & Fan Club marketing functions, including generating content & managing competitions.
  • Maintain copy & information on Official Supporters Club & Fan Club web-pages.
  • Work in partnership with the CRM team to build market specific comms.
  • Manage Supporters Club Admin (responsible for day-to-day contact with Clubs).
  • Provide regular reports and updates on both Official Supporters Clubs and Fan growth, showing market breakdowns, MoM growth vs targets and competitor analysis.
  • Support Fan Engagement Leads in Geo to deliver Official Supporters Clubs or Fan Club activations in international markets.

Measures of Performance:

  • Growth of Official Supporters Clubs and members within them.
  • Growth of Fan Club database.
  • Maintenance and optimisation of content calendar across both propositions, including creation of articles, video content, activations and competitions.

Person Spec:

  • Experience in implementing marketing campaigns to help grow an audience.
  • Experience in reporting and analysing data with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of working on projects with multiple stakeholders across a wider team.
  • Experience of working with creative teams and/or agency relationships.
  • Experience in working across multiple markets/languages.
  • Desired: relevant experience within sports/entertainment, or working with high-profile talent.
