Spa Attendant - Champneys Forest Mere, Liphook

Part time / 24 hours

RESPONSIBLE TO: Spa Manager, Assistant Spa Manager, Day Managers

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: To promote and provide guests and club members with their chosen spa treatments, ensuring a high standard of professionalism, customer service and conduct.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To carry out Spa treatments including Rasul Mud Experience and Thalassotherapy to the required standards ensuring the specific treatment time and procedure is adhered to.
  2. To give professional advise to guests and promote available treatments.
  3. To promote products along with a full homecare prescription.
  4. To stay with the guest throughout the treatment, escorting them to and from the pick-up point.
  5. To liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the treatment manager and spa reception on the days scheduled treatments, any changes, additions etc in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our guests. Flexibility and co-operation are required.
  6. To attend any appropriate training courses required.
  7. To ensure all equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance via the day or spa manager at any time of the day.
  8. To turn off equipment and secure rooms, returning keys to reception.
  9. To adhere to health and safety regulations by using safe work practices.
  10. To ensure all equipment and utensils are appropriately sterilised.
  11. To be punctual at all times.
  12. To comply with standards of appearance and to be dressed in Champneys uniform at all times whilst on duty.
  13. To attend all departmental meetings.
  14. To inform supervisors of any medical conditions or behaviour from guests that is unusual or causes concern e.g. skin conditions, bruising etc.
  15. To follow the company’s sickness and absence procedure.
  16. To assist in all cleaning and tidying of the treatment spa areas
  17. To undertake any other reasonable duties as delegated by the Spa Manager, General Manager, Operations Director and company owners.
