The magnificent 5 * Castlemartyr Country Hotel Resort located 20 minutes East of Cork City is currently recruiting a Chef de Partie. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be joining a our established team with the opportunity to develop your career at Castlemartyr Resort.
Duties:
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
- Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis.
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by Sous Chef to meet the standard and the quality set by the Hotel.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of best cooking practices
