An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Galley team onboard our luxurious Cunard brand as a Demi Chef De Partie Butcher. As Demi Chef de Partie Butcher your responsibilities and duties will include:

• Ensuring the provision of high quality, professionally prepared meat and fish products
• Working closely with the Chef de Partie Butcher to control cost and wastage within the meat & fish preparation area
• Proactively planning activities ensuring products are thawed in time for need, ensure all storage times and requirements are followed

To join Cunard in this fantastic role you will need the following experience:

• Experience of working in a hotel butchery ideal but will also consider large butchers shop, supermarket butchery or abattoir
• Experience of thawing, de-boning, cleaning, grinding, mincing, portion-cutting and marinating of meat would be advantageous
• Good command of written and spoken English

Please note that Personal Survival Techniques (PST) and Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, other than Fast Rescue Boats STCW is a requirement for this role. Further information will be provided should your application be successful.
