Finance Analyst, GandA - Shore Based - Southampton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shoreside general and administrative costs (G&A) Finance Analyst within Financial Control at Carnival UK's Head Office in Southampton.  

This role would be accountable for the revolution of the monthly forecasting process and key messaging to the business.  With the clear goal in mind, to transform the most visible and high profile business process that touches all areas of the organisation, you will make it proactive, insightful and timely, with clear business ownership and accountability. They would manage assistant financial analysts to order to provide the expected level of service to the business.

The role would provide the financial planning and reporting expertise and challenge to business in relation to shoreside G&A costs. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust financial reporting, governance and control of Carnival UK G&A shoreside expenditure.

The role will be required to combine the leveraging of relationships with the Carnival UK senior leadership team and other Carnival brands together with a strong creativity, accounting, integrity and process change mindset, in order to deliver successfully.

About You 

Essential:

• FP&A experience working in a fast paced environment
• Qualified accountant
• Cross functional and multi level (incl. Board level) influencing, communication and teamwork.
• Large Company experience
• Management reporting experience
• Team management experience

Desirable:

• ERP (e.g. Oracle / SAP) systems experience
